Shane is a former Utah Supreme Court clerk. He speaks Spanish fluently.  He regularly provides pro bono legal advice to self-represented parties at the Third District Court’s domestic pro se calendar and to members of the LGBT community at the Utah Pride Center’s Rainbow Law Clinic.  Among other recognitions, Shane has consistently been named as a SuperLawyers® Rising Star in the Mountain States for family law every year since 2015.

Shane was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and his rescue dogs. Shane resides with his husband and dogs in the mountains adjacent to Salt Lake City, Utah
